About Lynde Young

Lynde Young

Over the years I collected 3 degrees. The first degree was in computer programming in 1970. My mid-life crisis saw me collect an architectural drafting degree in 1989. I finally got the one I wanted, my BFA in Studio Arts in 2007, just before my 55th birthday, I have taught art and crafts extensively, worked in advertising as a layout artist, and built and run a non-profit in the Social Services field. Currently 70 years (as of 2022) and still Young, I tend to make what I feel like making at any given time. Including beaded and wirework jewelry, handmade books, digital art designs, art dolls, and sculpting and quilting with paper. Most of my analog work is in the re/up-cycle mixed media arena.
